Focus:
An awareness activity concentrating on the names of trees commonly found in Oregon.

Materials:
• Pencil
• “Trees” wordfind worksheet
• Answer sheet

Procedure:
After the students have completed the wordfind, ask them if anyone knows where they might find an example of each of the trees found in the wordfind.

Ask the students if any of them have tree identification skills. Have them share their information with the class.
