To be on  Starker Forests, Inc. land you need a permit. We mainly issue permits for hiking; mountain biking; hunting of deer, elk, bear, birds, turkey; and horseback riding.We also offer permits for activities such as: fishing, firewood cutting, bird watching, moss picking, digging plants for home landscaping, Boy or Girl Scout camping, berry picking, beekeeping, Christmas tree hunting, and wildlife and plant research.

Most of our permits are free. All you will need to fill out is  your name, address, phone number and vehicle license plate number. We will not give out your information to other companies or send you things in the mail.When you get a permit you are able to choose four of our 25 tree farms to recreate on. Some restrictions may apply. We have maps of all our tree farms which we can give to you for entry onto Starker Forests Inc. lands.

To receive a permit stop by our office at 7240 SW Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis, during our office hours 8:00am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. If you are over 50 miles radius and if you cannot come to our office during working hours, call 541-929-2477 and we can take the information over the phone and mail or fax the permit to you.
