Public Access on Starker Forests' Land

 

You are required to have a permit to be on Starker Forests' property (most of our permits are issued free of charge)

  • Beekeeping
  • Berry Picking
  • Bird Watching
  • Boy Scout Camping
  • Digging plants for home landscaping
  • Dog Training
  • Christmas Tree Hunting *
  • Fishing
  • Firewood Cutting *
  • Girl Scout Camping
  • Hiking
  • Horseback Riding
  • Hunting (deer, elk, bear, birds, turkey, etc)
  • Moss Picking *
  • Motorcycle Riding **
  • Mountain Bike Riding
  • Organized Mountain Bike Events *
  • Wildlife and Plant Research

* A fee or extra paperwork may be required

** Issued through Fred's Honda in South Corvallis (November-April)

How to get a permit:

Stop by our office at 7240 SW Philomath Blvd, Corvallis, during our office hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. If it is not possible for you to stop by our office then call 541-929-2477 and we can take the information over the phone and mail or fax the permit to you.

The information we need is your name, address, phone number, and vehicle license number. We also take note of what tree farm you will be on, the dates you will be there, what the purpose of your visit is, and the number of people in your party.
