Deer Season ends; break before elk season
The General Western Rifle Season for deer ended on November 4th, 2011. Some of our gates will remain open for the General Coast Bull Elk first season (November 12-15) and the second season (November 19-25). Check the ODFW Hunting Regulations for information about the Mandatory Hunter Harvest Survey program. You can report via the internet or a toll-free phone number.
When hunting on Starker Forests lands, please make sure to follow all of our rules as listed on your permit. For the managers at Starker Forests, the more important items include not driving on dirt roads and taking your trash with you when you leave.
