Starker Forests Recreation Update

Our forestlands are open to the public, with a free permit, for walk-in, horseback ride-in and bike-in use. Do not block any gate or road and smoking is not permitted.
Unless we receive significant* rain before October 4th, our gates will remain closed when the rifle deer season begins.
Significant rain means that we will receive over one inch of rain that “soaks in†over a period of at least a few days. Additionally, the rain event must be widespread over our forest ownership.
Starker Forests may choose to close lands to all recreation use at any time.
